Sizing and fit notes

Primark sizing is not consistent across its ranges, so treat the label as a starting point rather than a promise. Jersey tops and stretch pieces tend to be generous and forgiving. Woven shirts and structured trousers can run closer to the body, and some fashion-led styles are cut small or short in the body. Sub-brands and seasonal lines within Primark do not always match each other, and garments that have been washed many times may have shrunk slightly or relaxed at the waist.

The large majority are graded Very good, meaning light wear at most and no faults that affect how the item looks worn. A small number arrive New with tags, usually impulse buys that never got worn. We check seams, buttons, zips and hems on every piece before it goes online.
