Collection: Women's t-shirts

Every t-shirt here is a single piece, bought once, checked over and photographed as it really looks. The rail usually runs from plain scoop necks and short sleeve basics to graphic tees and fitted summer styles, in UK sizes 4 to 22. Most are graded Very good, a few Good, and each one is listed with its own photos so you can see the fabric, the print and any wear before you decide.

Buying preloved t-shirts

What turns up on the rail

High street labels do most of the work in this section. You will regularly see Zara, Bershka, New Look and H&M, with Superdry appearing for heavier cotton styles, Avant Garde for something less common, and the occasional licensed Stranger Things graphic tee. Mamas & Papas turns up too. Sizes typically span UK 4 to 22, so there is usually something at both ends of the range rather than a wall of mediums.

  • Patterns lean floral, striped and abstract
  • Styles include casual, everyday, summer, short sleeve, sleeveless, scoop neck, fitted and graphic tees
  • Condition is mostly Very good, with a small number graded Good

If you want more coverage or a different neckline, the wider women's tops collection sits alongside this one. Anyone after low-slung fitted shapes and baby tee proportions should also look through Y2K, where the cut tends to be shorter and tighter.

What to check before you buy a preloved tee

T-shirts show their history faster than most garments, so it pays to look closely at the photos.

  • Underarms and neckline. These are the first places cotton thins or discolours. Our photos show them, and we note anything worth knowing in the description.
  • Print condition on graphic tees. Screen prints can crack or lift with age. Some cracking is normal on an older tee and part of the look, but check it is described.
  • Shape after washing. Jersey can shrink in length or stretch at the hem. Ask for measurements rather than relying on the size label, especially with fitted styles.
  • Fabric weight. A heavier cotton holds its shape far longer than a thin one. If weight matters to you, ask before ordering.

Measurements on any item are available on request before you buy, so message us if you are between sizes.

Why preloved makes sense here

T-shirts are made in enormous numbers and thrown out just as fast. Buying one that already exists keeps it out of the bin and skips the water and cotton needed for a new one. There is a practical upside too: a tee that has been washed a few times has already done its shrinking and softening, so what you see is what you keep. Graphic tees and old-season prints are also the kind of thing you simply cannot order new any more, which is the point of a one-of-one rail. Orders go out with tracked UK delivery within two working days, standard delivery is free over £50, and you have 14 days to return anything for any reason.

Common questions

How are t-shirt sizes listed?

We list the size on the garment label, which for this collection typically runs UK 4 to 22. Labels vary between brands, so we also hold measurements for every item and will send them over before you buy. Zara and Bershka in particular tend to come up smaller than the number suggests.

Do graphic tees have any print damage?

Sometimes, and we will always say so. Older screen prints can crack or fade slightly with washing, and on a licensed tee like a Stranger Things design that ageing is often part of why people want it. If cracking would bother you, check the close-up photos, which we shoot on the print itself.

What does Very good mean for a t-shirt?

Very good means the tee has been worn but has no holes, marks or thinning that catch the eye, and the shape is still true. Most of this collection sits at that grade. A Good grade means there is something small and visible, such as light wear at a seam, and we photograph it rather than describe it vaguely.

How should I wash a preloved tee?

A cool wash inside out is safest, especially on printed and fitted styles, and it keeps colour from dulling. Skip the tumble dryer where you can, as heat is what shrinks jersey and lifts prints. Anything in a heavier cotton, such as a Superdry tee, will take longer to dry but hold its shape better.

Can I buy several t-shirts together?

Yes, and combining items is the easy way to reach the free standard delivery threshold of £50. Everything ships together in one tracked parcel, dispatched within two working days. Because each piece is one of a kind, though, adding to basket does not reserve it for you.

Nothing on the rail suits me today?

New pieces go live most days, so it is worth another look later in the week. If you are after a specific colour, brand or size, send us a note through the contact form and we will keep an eye out as stock comes in.
