Collection: Boho

Boho is the loose, layered end of our rail: tunics, embroidered tops, paisley prints and floaty dresses that were made for warm days and holidays. Every piece here is one of a kind, checked by hand, graded honestly and photographed as it really looks. Sizes typically run from UK 4 to 22, so the fit you want may be here today and gone tomorrow. If you need measurements, just ask before you buy.

Buying preloved boho pieces

What turns up on the rail

Boho covers a lot of ground, and the labels reflect that. We regularly see Monsoon and Joe Browns for the embroidered, detailed end of things, FatFace and River Island for easier everyday shapes, plus Primark, Peacocks, M&Co and Very. Prints usually run to paisley, floral, abstract and polka dot. Styles lean summer and holiday: tunics, long sleeve layering pieces, casual throw-on tops and longer dresses.

  • Sizes typically span UK 4 to 22, though each piece is one-of-one.
  • Condition is mostly Very good, with a few graded Good.
  • Flower prints cross over heavily with our Florals collection.
  • For tunics and embroidered blouses, also look through Women's tops; for the longer floaty shapes, try Maxi dresses.

What to check on preloved boho

Boho pieces carry more trim than most clothes, and trim is where wear shows first. Read the photos and the grade notes together, and ask if anything is unclear.

  • Embroidery and beading: look for pulled threads at the neckline and cuffs, and check whether any beads or mirrors are missing from a repeated pattern.
  • Tassels, ties and drawstrings: these go missing over time. If a waist tie matters to the fit, confirm it is present.
  • Crochet and broderie panels: fine open work can snag. Small holes are normal in older pieces and should be reflected in the grade.
  • Shape and drape: loose cuts hide the body but not the shoulders. Check the shoulder seam and bust measurements rather than guessing from the label, as tunics vary hugely between brands.
  • Sheer fabrics: many summer boho tops are light enough to need a slip or vest underneath. Worth planning for.

Why buy boho preloved

Boho is a look that never fully leaves, which means the best versions of it are already out there. Older Monsoon and Joe Browns pieces often have hand embroidery and mixed panels that are hard to find new at the same quality. Buying preloved also lets you build a layered look properly, a tunic, a floaty dress, a long sleeve piece over the top, without buying everything at once at full price.

Practically, it is a low-risk way to try a shape you have not worn before. UK delivery is tracked, orders go out within 2 working days, standard delivery is free over £50 and you have 14 days to return anything for any reason. If something arrives faulty or not as described, you have 30 days.

Common questions

How do I know a boho tunic will fit?

Don't rely on the size label. Boho cuts are deliberately loose and sizing varies a lot between brands like Primark and Monsoon, so message us and we will send the flat measurements, chest, length and sleeve, before you commit. We measure garments flat, unstretched, so add a little for stretchy fabrics.

What does the condition grading actually mean here?

We use five grades: New with tags, Like new, Very good, Good and Fair. Most boho pieces on the rail sit at Very good, with a few at Good, and any flaw that affects the grade is written into the listing and shown in the photos. Nothing is described from the label alone, every item is checked in hand.

Are older boho pieces smaller than modern sizing?

Sometimes, yes, and it's worth knowing before you order. Sizing has drifted over the years, so a vintage or older high street size 12 can measure closer to a modern 10, particularly across the bust and upper arm. Always ask for measurements on older pieces rather than assuming, it saves you a return.

Can embroidered and beaded boho tops go in the washing machine?

We would not risk it. Hand wash cool and dry flat is the safest route for embroidery, beading and crochet trim, because a machine drum pulls threads and snaps loose beads. Check the care label in the photos, and if it isn't legible we're happy to describe what the fabric feels like.

Do you get boho maxi dresses as well as tops?

Yes, the longer floaty shapes come through regularly alongside the tunics and blouses. Because everything is one-of-one, the mix shifts constantly, so it's worth checking both this collection and the maxi dresses rail. Saving a search or checking back every few days works better than waiting for a restock, as nothing repeats.

Nothing here in my size right now, what next?

New pieces go live most days, so the boho rail looks different within a week. Drop us a note through the contact form telling us your size and the sort of thing you're after, whether that's a paisley tunic or a long sleeve layering piece, and we'll keep an eye out as stock is processed.
