Look through the preloved dresses if that is what you are after. After that come tops, from plain cotton t-shirts to blouses with abstract or striped prints, and trousers and jeans in the usual denim and casual shapes. Patterns repeat often: florals first, then check, abstract and stripes. Condition is steady, with the vast majority sitting at Very good and a small number arriving new with tags.

Sizing and fit notes

H&M sizing is not consistent, and it is worth knowing that before you buy. The brand has run several ranges over the years, from basics through to Divided, and the fit is not the same across them. Divided pieces in particular tend to be cut for a younger, narrower frame and often come up smaller than the label suggests. Dresses can be short in the body and the skirt, so if you are tall, check the length rather than trusting the size. Older stock and newer stock can differ too, since the brand has adjusted its sizing over time.
